I also continue to utilize my Military background to educate active duty and veteran service members on the various products created and allocated for the Military population and their families. I have firmly joined my past positions in sales, leadership and business development to continually meet and exceed regional goals set by our firm; while thinking outside of some of the traditional ways of achieving these goals. I must say that all my efforts have been quite successful, and we have seen an increase in mortgage loans generated in our LMI areas. Responsible for presenting the Chase Military Initiatives and Mortgage Program to a variety of Active Duty and Veteran groups in both intimate and large venues. I accomplish this by Raising awareness of all the monetary and protective benefits of obtaining financing through JP Morgan Chase to include but not limited to the Military Mortgage Program, VA loans and educating the community on the benefits of utilizing programs such as SONYMA, subsidy monies from Chase via our Multi Cultural and Affordable Lending Division and down payment assistance programs provided by third party non-profit institutions. Initiate and cultivated relationships with Military Bases and present the entire Military Mortgage Program to key Commanders and Chiefs of various departments, which allows for full presentations to mass Military audiences. Participating in National Military and Defense Expositions, engaging both DOD Personnel as well as third party vendors in order to raise awareness and create unique opportunities to increase marketability and market share within home lending. I am regularly invited to participate in various Pre and Post Deployment events, Yellow Ribbon events and family readiness programs.
In general, I present to crowds ranging from 50-400 soldiers and military families Internal: Providing internal training, presentations and support to the Central and East Region Home Lending sales force, to ensure they are well versed and aware of how to approach the Military and Veteran population in a professional yet sensitive manner. Utilizing my experience as a Military spouse I provide key insight to the sales force on how to best navigate within the Military community and seamlessly integrate all possible home lending products and programs to provide the best customer experience possible. Interface with Senior Level Management within Home Lending and other lines of business to provide information and support where needed in order to increase sales and create quantifiable purchase business within home lending and retail banking. Paring company approved “Partners” with Loan Officers to enhance their FTHB seminars and events and provide full service to loan officers during these events. Working closely with my Military Initiatives Division counterparts across the country to create and develop a “Military Mortgage Tip of the Week” which is distributed across the country to the LO Sales force. Function as a point person for VA, Military and standard loan process questions to increase sales within various market segments.
As an Account Executive, I am part of several Retail Bank store teams that focus on providing outstanding customer service to our customers by providing products that meet their home financing needs. I am responsible for originating quality residential mortgage loans, actively cross-selling other bank products, and providing referrals to other areas of the Retail Bank. I have also developed strong partnerships with the assigned Retail Bank stores to increase mortgage loan originations.
